This Faire is very low-key for us. We do only historical shows and try out new material (see Freon doing some work with a mortuary sword,everyone trying spinning.) This faire has a strong fantasy element with elves, cat people, fairies and others. We get time to explore, shop and on this weekend, try out a set of "boffers" (padded foam swords) The pointy-eared fellow took on our fighters with this choice of weapon. Let's just say they handle differently than steel.
