Mobile Zoo
Renaissance Faire 2004
It was great to work
with Steve again and we ended up doing a little extra this year to
fill stage slots after some performers (like our dearly missed Queen
Bea) were unable to make it. We had three sword tourneys/plot, two
stage acts and our fire show. Those folks who come to see our shows
will appreciate that for our last big show of the year we work
without a script. So when pirates, law and nobles tussle for a
treasure map and key (look for key stealing in the "Princess Rumble"
shot) we never know what will come out or what will happen. (Dear
reader, the fights and stage acts are always choreographed) We had 3-3.5 hours a day on stage-one
stint was an hour and a half long with no breaks. But we had a great
time at our favorite faire and the patrons seemed to as well. And we
hope folks will take the time to help support the Mobile
Zoo because it's a
great place that helps many exotic animals-including forgotten animal
stars and critters that wouldn't have a place to go.
